Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Some common questions and answers about cyclingMOFOS products, ordering, specs, and us. We're always glad to help, so if you don't see your questions answered here, just contact us!

How long does it take to get my wheels?

Expected delivery to your door is 14-24 days. If your build order matches our most popular builds, we may have it already in stock and ready to ship to get you riding even sooner. Otherwise, we start building your wheels right away, just the way you ordered them, and typically have them tested, packed, and ready to ship in 10-14 days. We know you're anxious to get your cool cycling goodies, so we will send you updates on your order to let you know exactly how it's progressing.

How much is shipping?

Nothing! Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. We ship worldwide for FREE!

How long does delivery take?

Shipments to the U.S., Australia, and the U.K. are shipped via Express Mail Service (EMS); shipments to other regions may use alternate logistics partners for efficient, expedited delivery. With our standard, free shipping, it takes approximately 5-10 business days for your order to get to your door once it ships from our production facility. Contact us for rush shipping options.

Will there be any customs taxes or fees?

No way! We've worked with our logistics partners to get your wheels shipped so when they get to your door you don't pay any customs taxes, import duty, or fees. We also take care of sales taxes/GST/VAT as required per locale.

What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?

We make it easy to purchase your cycling gear with a wide range of payment methods, including credit / debit, PayPal, FuturePay, Certegy, Lay-Buy, and more. See our Payment Options page for more information.

Are MOFOS wheels 10 or 11-speed compatible?

Yes. Rear wheels are built with your choice of Shimano/SRAM or Campagnolo 11-speed compatible freehub and come with an alloy freehub spacer for compatibility with 8, 9, and 10-speed cassettes.

Are MOFOS wheels 12-speed SRAM eTap XDR Driver compatible?

Yes. A SRAM XDR Driver-compatible freehub body for new wheel purchases is available for some hub types. If you want to upgrade an existing freehub body, retrofit XDR freehub bodies may be available depending on your rear hub type. Contact us with your specific wheel and hub type to learn more.

Do you have a warranty or crash replacement program?

Absolutely! Check our industry-leading warranty and crash replacement program.

Do you have disc brake wheels?

Yes, cyclingMOFOS disc brake wheels have been shipping since 2017. They're available in our variety of rim depths and colors that you're used to, plus hubs for different axle needs (quick release or 12 mm and 15 mm thru-axle) and disc rotor attachment (centerlock or 6-bolt). We've got you covered. See them all here.

Do you have mountain bike wheels? Cyclocross (CX) / gravel wheels? Tubulars? Tubeless? Full Disc? Do you have [name your bike style / type / item]?

Yes, we have those! Many items are already in production and shipping out, but we're often slow to update the website — we'd rather be riding than coding. Best thing to do is ask us about what you're after and we'll let you know.

For other items, we're still working to make them available to you. We want to get you the latest and greatest in technology and variety, but we will not compromise quality to rush them out for the sake of sales. We are working hard to make sure these components are built right, tough tested, and MOFO approved before we share them with you. Do drop us a message to let us know what you're looking for; your feedback will help us prioritize what comes soonest.

What are the maximum rider weights / weight limits of your wheels?

Please see the max recommended rider weights / weight limits for all rim sizes listed on our Rims Options page.

Do you offer custom colors and/or team graphics?

Yes, we've expanded our palette of colors and selection of graphics to include custom colors, custom team graphics, and even no graphics at all. Select 'Custom' from the 'Logo Color' pulldown for custom colors of existing graphics and specify your color in the notes. For custom colors, graphics, or no graphics, contact us to discuss what you'd like.

What's a MOFO?

Let's not beat around the bush - MOFO is originally a derivative of "mother fucker." If we haven't overly offended you yet, great, because MOFO is more commonly used to describe someone who is badass or hard-core, and we mean it in the most badass, hard-core, endearing way possible. We concede some people won't identify, but most cyclists are at least a little MOFO at times and everyone could use a little more. ;)
